Dr. Antony has specialized in cosmetic surgery of the face, breast, and body for over 20 years. Dr Antony was drawn to the field of plastic surgery with her background as a trained artist focusing on sculpture and oil painting having studied at the Lorenzo Medici Institute of Art in Florence, Italy.

Dr. Anu Antony is sought out for her artistic eye and meticulous surgical technique in facial, breast and body procedures. Dr. Antony is known as a pioneer in the field of plastic surgery having developed novel surgical techniques that have gained national and international recognition. Dr. Antony empowers her patients to look and feel their best and achieve their personal beauty goals.

After attending the North Carolina School of Science and Math, she completed a degree at a top 10% nationally ranked Chemistry program followed by her medical degree. She honed her skills as a plastic surgeon at the elite Stanford University Medical Center plastic surgery residency in Palo Alto, California. She rounded out her education and training at Ivy Leagues Harvard and Cornell completing double fellowships at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center / Cornell Medical Center in New York and Massachusetts General Hospital / Harvard Medical School in Boston. She has a Master of Public Health in Biostatistics from the Harvard School of Public Health and an Executive MBA from the Northwestern Kellogg School of Management.

Dr. Antony is an accomplished writer, researcher, and speaker who lectures nationally and internationally. During her 15 years in Chicago, Dr. Antony served as Professor and Vice Chair of the Department of Surgery at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago and Chair and President of national and regional societies and conferences. She is an associate consulting professor at Duke Plastic Surgery and maintains membership in numerous distinguished professional societies. She is Board-Certified in Plastic Surgery and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and American Society of Plastic Surgery. She has returned home to NC from Chicago, New York, Boston and California bringing her family (husband, two kids and two fur babies) with her.
