Dr. Joseph Mele is an active member of Premier Plastic Surgery Societies, Double Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) and the American Board of Surgery (ABS). Graduating with honors in BS Electrical and Computer Engineering from University of California at Davis was awarded the Regents’ Scholarship to attend UC Davis School of Medicine.
Dr. Mele acquired three years of intense post-graduate instruction in General Plastic Surgery specialized training in Cosmetic Plastic Surgery, Micro Surgery, Burn Care and Rehabilitation, Hand Surgery, and the repair of Congenital Deformities. He’s also volunteered on surgical missions to provide medical care for underprivileged children in Guatemala and Argentina.
He completed his surgical internship at the University of California Davis Medical Center in Sacramento, California and now offering a less common surgeries in San Francisco Bay Area such as Otoplasty – ear pinning surgery, Correction on Inverted Nipples and Breast Reduction for males.
