Americans Are More Addicted to Plastic Surgery Than Ever
What may be even more surprising to learn is that it’s not just women seeking flawless features — men are now also forking out thousands of dollars in attempts to enhance their physical features as well.
According to Paul S. Nass, Hollywood plastic surgeon, the current most-requested celebrity feature is Kim Kardashian-like butt. In fact, the United States saw an 86% increase in buttock augmentations from 2013 to 2014 — cray. Next in popularity after requests for the famous Kardashian ass comes Olivia Munn’s eyes, followed by the lips of Scarlett Johannson.
Whether it’s butt, nose, lips, ears, or boobs, 1 out of every 20 American women have gotten some sort of work done.
For guys, those looking to surgically increase the shaft size of their penis are probably residents of Germany or visit Germany for the procedure, because in 2013, 2,786 penis enlargement procedures were recorded in Germany, which was roughly six times greater than any other country.
While all these statistics are interesting, to say the least, the strangest plastic surgery trend was seen in 2011 when 62 million procedures were done on dogs.
